Day 2

The morning is at your leisure to explore Boston! As the Cradle of Modern America, Boston birthed a revolution. Laced in legacy and a world of cultures, the city has stories to tell. Follow the red-brick road along the Freedom Trail, and admire the zenith of colonial history and modern innovation. Cobblestone walkways, civic landmarks, and classic architecture sit pretty to reveal authentic Americana from the perspective of one of the oldest cities in the United States. A driving tour is included for those who would like to join. We’ll then transfer to the pier to board the Victory I for the next seven nights. (Dinner included)

Day 3

Newport on Aquidneck Island is lovingly referred to as the Sailing Capital of the World, having hosted the famed America’s Cup yacht race for more than 50 years. Gilded Age mansions dot the landscape. Sprawling estates such as The Breakers, Rosecliff, Marble House, and The Elms were considered “cottages” by the wealthy industrialist families whose legacies they carry. Delight in the rich history, phenomenal cliffside views, and award-winning culinary traditions of this fashionable seaside retreat. No excursions are offered today, so the day is yours to explore the city.

(Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Day 4

Dotted with grassy hills and winding roads, Martha’s Vineyard features three towns – Edgartown, Vineyard Haven, and Oak Bluffs – plus a few smaller villages. Colonial homes and Greek Revival mansions blend with weathered cottages in the architectural style named for the surrounding waters – Cape Cod. With the day at your leisure take advantage of the opportunities for shopping and sightseeing, lighthouses and lobsters, and beaches and bike trails!

(Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Day 5

Experience Provincetown on your own today. At the northern tip of Cape Cod, the first pilgrims from the Old World stepped off the Mayflower in 1620. Pilgrim Monument stretches high above the landscape overlooking the cerulean sprawl of the bay. The dense array of shops and restaurants on Commercial Street host a constant stream of visitors looking for the best of Cape Cod’s seafood and souvenirs. From multicolored murals to sunny decks on which to sit a spell, this spot feels like a slice of paradise.

(Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Day 6

On a peninsula in Casco Bay, Portland lends urban sensibility to the wild splendor of the craggy coastline beyond. At the Old Port waterfront, restaurants and revelry now fill the 19th-century warehouses. Stroll along cobblestone streets and breathe in the fresh scent of the sea. Perhaps catch the strains of some bluegrass or blues from a nearby bar while hardworking fishermen on the wharves catch the next day’s lunch. At Cape Elizabeth just to the south, the Portland Head Light stands as a beacon to the ocean’s travelers. There are no included or premium excursions offered today, but there is plenty to do within an easy walking distance of the pier in Portland.

(Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Day 7

The small, charming town of Rockland, ME, is New England in a snapshot. There are lobsters, tall ships, lighthouses, and puffins – the adorable orange-tinged birds, for which Maine ocean islands provide their only American nesting grounds. Limestone from the area helped build Boston, New York, and beyond. Arts, attractions, and breathtaking landscapes give rise to a special atmosphere here. Join the included tour for a terrific overview of the town. If you are car enthusiast, you’ll love the premium excursion that will take you through centuries of technological advancements in air, land, and marine vehicles.

(Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Day 8

Bar Harbor is a scenic town on Mount Desert Island that rests on the cusp of Acadia National Park. The town’s impeccable beauty is distinct. The landscape is marked by natural wonders, such as overlooking ocean cliffs, rocky beaches, lush forests and the not-so-distant peak of Cadillac Mountain. During your visit, experience the marvelous scenes of the coastal community along Frenchman Bay that have captured the hearts of many. For premium shore excursions, you can soak in some Downeast hospitality on a traditional lobster boat tour or delve into the wine making process followed by a tasting.

(Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

Day 9

We will disembark the ship in St. John, New Brunswick, and transfer to the airport for our flight home.

(Breakfast included)
