"What the world needs now is love, sweet love"...as long as you are six feet apart. We want to express our love and gratitude to all our group leaders for the amazing resilience and understanding in this challenging time.
There is not one segment of the tourism industry worldwide that has not been affected by the coronavirus. The steps being taken on a global scale will do much to curb the spread of the virus and get the world back on track.
At Star Destinations, we are working 24/7 to assist our groups on tour and those who have tours in the upcoming months. We are constantly amazed at how calm and trusting you all have been.
We are constantly monitoring information coming from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization as well as US policy-based sources such as the Department of State and the Overseas Security Advisory Council. In addition, we are in constant communication with our trusted partners around the world who have on-the-ground information to keep us well-informed. Our top priority is the health and well-being of our valued travelers and it will continue to drive our search for information.
We value our relationship with our group leaders and will do everything we can to keep you informed and up to date with any information that will affect your upcoming tours. We are meeting with all departments to assess each situation individually and believe that we will make the right decision for your travels. Be assured that we will convey any decisions to you as soon as possible. We know you will be getting calls from your travelers, and we encourage you to call our office with any questions you cannot answer. You can look to us for guidance and reassurance as we all move forward together.
In closing, I want to thank you all for your support, understanding, and trust in our partnership. We want you to know that we will be here far into the future, long after the dust settles, to keep your groups traveling and enjoying those special experiences around of the world.
Stay safe and optimistic. If you are spending long periods at home, enjoy your time with your family – it is a precious gift. Then get those closets cleaned out!
