DAY 1 FRIDAY, JUNE 19 ANCHORAGE
Today, we will board our flight to Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska. Upon our arrival, we will make our way to the beautiful Anchorage Hilton Hotel (or similar). With the
remainder of the day at your leisure, enjoy the stunning views from your room of the neighboring Cook Inlet, the Chugach Mountains, or the Anchorage cityscape.
DAY 2 SATURDAY, JUNE 20 SEWARD (B, L)
This morning, set off on a spectacular drive along Alaska’s breathtaking Turnagain Arm, where dramatic cliffs and glistening waters may reveal Dall sheep, soaring eagles, and even Beluga whales. Then, unwind on a serene float down the crystal-clear Upper Kenai River, drifting through the untouched wilderness as expert guides bring the landscape to life with fascinating stories. Savor an authentic Alaskan Salmon Bake lunch in a stunning outdoor setting before arriving in the charming town of Seward, where our accommodations at Seward Windsong Lodge (or similar) await. With free time to explore, stroll the picturesque harbor, browse cozy shops, or breathe in the fresh sea air of this unforgettable coastal gem.
DAY 3 SUNDAY, JUNE 21 SEWARD (B, L, D)
Today is all about exploring Alaska’s incredible marine ecosystem during one of the most magical times of the year—the Summer Solstice, when daylight lingers late into the evening and the natural world is at its most vibrant. Get up close to playful sea otters, puffins, and harbor seals at the renowned Alaska SeaLife Center, then embark on a thrilling six-hour cruise through the glacier-carved majesty of Kenai Fjords National Park. As we sail through icy waters, keep watch for breaching whales, diving puffins, and tidewater glaciers crashing into the sea, all while enjoying a light lunch onboard. This evening, gather for a festive Solstice dinner as the sun lingers in the sky, lighting up an Alaskan evening you’ll never forget.
DAY 4 MONDAY, JUNE 22 WHITTIER (B, D)
Get ready for a memorable Alaskan adventure with a visit to the famed Seavey family kennel, home to six-time Iditarod champions. Meet the incredible sled dogs, cuddle with playful puppies and learn what it takes to conquer the legendary 1,000-mile race. Then, feel the rush as we navigate through the forest on an exciting two-mile dog sled ride,
guided by a seasoned musher sharing tales of grit and glory. Afterward, travel through the awe-inspiring Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel to the coastal town of Whittier, where we’ll transfer to the pier to board the beautiful Norwegian Jade and explore our home for the next seven nights.
DAY 5 TUESDAY, JUNE 23 CRUISE HUBBARD GLACIER (B, L, D)
Get up close and personal with the gigantic Hubbard Glacier, North America’s largest tidewater glacier. It is 1,350 square miles of blue ice and one of the most active glaciers in Alaska! Calving occurs nearly every day, an exciting experience that sends large chunks of ice crashing into the water below.
DAY 6 WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24 ICY STRAIT POINT (B, L, D)
Venture “where the north wind doesn’t blow.” Known for this famous saying, Icy Strait Point is the ideal landing spot for adventurers seeking a new experience. Breathtaking and exciting, Icy Strait Point truly takes you where the wild things are. It’s one of the few places in the world where wildlife outnumbers the human population. While in port, optional excursions include experiencing a traditional Tlingit tribal performance and getting up close to humpback whales and brown bears in the wild. Work up a wilderness hunger and satisfy it with fresh Dungeness crab, or take in Alaska’s awe-inspiring landscapes by gondola, tram, ATV, kayak, or high-speed boat.
DAY 7 THURSDAY, JUNE 25 JUNEAU (B, L, D)
We are off to Juneau, which has been called “Alaska’s peak experience,” undoubtedly due in part to its unparalleled glacier viewing from such places as Tracy Arm Fjord, the Juneau Icefields, and Glacier Bay National Park. Optional excursions in Juneau include kayaking up one of the area’s many protected waterways, embarking on a whale watching adventure, feasting on salmon, touring historic downtown, or trying one’s hand at panning for gold.
DAY 8 FRIDAY, JUNE 26 SKAGWAY (B, L, D)
The great Klondike Gold Rush lives on in Skagway’s charming downtown, featuring restored nineteenth-century buildings and its historic railway. Located on the edge of the wilderness, this small town saw its fair share of gold seekers. Today, there is so much fascinating history to uncover in Skagway!
DAY 9 SATURDAY, JUNE 27 KETCHIKAN (B, L, D)
Known as the ‘Salmon Capital of the World,’ Ketchikan is also the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world’s largest collection of totem poles. Next to the
water, you’ll find the neat row of wooden buildings known as Creek Street. Today, they are brightly painted boutiques, but their history tells a different story!
DAY 10 SUNDAY, JUNE 28 CRUISE INSIDE PASSAGE (B, L, D)
Get ready for amazing views and wildlife like nowhere else as we sail through the islands of Alaska’s Inside Passage. This complex labyrinth of fjords, bays, and lush green islands is home to an abundance of wildlife, including orcas, mountain goats, bald eagles, bears, puffins, sea otters, and much more.
DAY 11 MONDAY, JUNE 29 HOME (B)
We disembark in Vancouver, British Columbia, and catch our flight home
